Low grain feeds contain oats and spelt. These cereals are well absorbed in the cat's body and do not cause allergic reactions. Available in 300g, 1.5kg and 10kg.

The CIMiAO series is a dry food that contains not only protein products, but also corn and rice. It should be noted that these are raw materials that provide good satiety, but these are simple carbohydrates, which means they lead to a sharp jump in insulin in the blood. Moreover, corn can cause allergic reactions in animals.

This category includes ten different diets for cats of different ages, taking into account physiological and individual characteristics. Farmina has also developed a formula for wet food, this is the Matisse series. They are produced in the form of mousse in 85 g jars. They are distinguished by a variety of flavors: with rabbit, veal, beef, lamb, salmon, cod, sardine.

It can also be found in cans in the form of a pate, and in the form of small pieces in sauce. Available in 400 g.

And the latest Fun Cat series is an economical option at lower prices. The manufacturer offers only two flavors: with fish and with meat. Available in packages of 2.4 kg and 20 kg.

    Reviews of Farmina products

When our griffon's eyes started to run and unpleasant brown tear tracks appeared, I immediately turned to experienced breeders for help. At the same time, I didn’t even suspect that THESE were signs of food allergies in dogs, because I had never encountered such a phenomenon before. We completely stopped the food we were feeding him, eliminated chicken from the dog's diet (as a major allergen), and chose the lowest protein food we could find. More precisely, the hypoallergenic dietary food for dogs Farmina Vet Life Hypoallergenic Egg & Ric was recommended to me by a friend, an experienced dog handler and griffon breeder. In general, I really liked Farmina food in general. And their veterinary line is simply superb! You can choose food for dogs and cats suffering from various diseases and make their lives significantly easier. This food option is available in two weight versions - 2 kg and 12 kg, and the cost differs accordingly. If the dog is small (it seems to me that allergy sufferers are most often medium-sized and small dogs, although Labradors are also said to have severe allergies), well, in general, it is more logical to take a 2-kilogram package (one or several at once). I take 2 kg bags, because I think that it is better not to keep the food open for a long time - it oxidizes and loses its properties. What is especially pleasing is that there is no chicken at all in the composition and there is not even chicken fat (which we put into all hypoallergenic food). And in general, there is no meat as such, although the crude protein in this food is only 15.50%. The source of protein is egg (22%). But for our griffon, which, as it turns out, cannot tolerate a high percentage of protein, this is a very good indicator. The food is also enriched with vitamins, minerals, fish oil, potassium chloride, calcium carbonate, calcium phosphate, sodium chloride... Rice serves as a source of carbohydrates here. If your dog is allergic to other grains, this is a very good option. Now I will tell you about the effectiveness of the feed. I was still afraid that the dog would not have enough energy (there is no meat in the food) and he would lose weight. Yeah - nothing like that! There is more than enough energy, you can infect a perpetual motion machine with our Casper. Moreover, the dog’s dog has even begun to gain weight, so I want to reduce the daily norm a little. The food is well digestible, does not cause stomach upset, and is pleasant in all respects. The stool is normal, but the product yield has decreased significantly in comparison with the feed that was fed before. As for allergies, I noticed after a while that the “tear tracks” had decreased significantly and my eyes began to look much better, and after that the allergies went away altogether! The eyes look good, there are no tracks, tears practically do not flow. The result is impressive. I didn’t even expect that changing my diet would have such an effect. We tried so many foods - all to no avail and only Farmina helped so clearly.

    Compound

    • Proteins make up 44% of the total mass. This is a pretty good indicator. They are represented by dehydrated meat and dehydrated whole

      Composition
with egg. These products are in the first two places. They are of high quality and are easily digestible by animals.

    • The only caveat is that the manufacturer indicates the content of raw meat without bones is 30%. When cooked, the water will disappear and the amount of meat will decrease. Most likely, after dehydration the percentage will be 10.
    • The optimal carbohydrate content is 12%. These are mainly potatoes, but more economical series contain wheat, rice, and corn. In general, their number does not exceed the norm, so there is no need to worry.
    • Fiber accounts for 1.8%. These are spinach, beets, apples.
    • Fat content is in fourth place. The manufacturer specifies chicken and fish fat. These lipids are saturated and will benefit cats.
    • A range of fruits have also been added, most likely in dry form. They are sources of vitamins and are essential for animal health.
    • The taste is enhanced by medicinal herbs, which are also included in the composition.
    • It is worth noting that the content of animal products is significantly higher than the content of plant products. This is a definite plus.

Experts speak only positively about the food from this company and often recommend it to their clients.

Nikolai Anatolyevich. The owner contacted me. Her cat began to lose a lot of weight after being spayed. I advised him to change his diet and pointed to Farmina food. After a few days, the cat became noticeably prettier, her fur became smooth and shiny, and her apathy and lack of appetite disappeared. The main thing is that when feeding this food, your pet will not gain excess weight and will always be full and healthy.

    Customer Reviews

Among the opinions there are both positive and negative. But, of course, there are more positive ones.

Irina, 27 years old. We bought Farmina food on the advice of a veterinarian, used the medicinal series first, and then switched to non-grain food. We really like everything! I was especially pleased with the variety of flavors. The cat eats with great appetite, but does not overeat. If I pour a little more than normal, it just leaves it in the bowl. In general, I recommend it to everyone! I think it will suit any pet!

Christina, 31 years old. I decided to change the food for my cat; the seller recommended Farmina for neutered cats. At first everything was fine, but then I began to notice that my pet was lethargic and often went to the toilet. It turned out that we had developed urolithiasis. This food did not suit us.
