The packaging indicates that the composition contains salmon oil and poultry fat, but what kind of poultry fat is added to the feed is not indicated. These ingredients act as sources of fatty acids.
Hydrolyzed poultry liver in the feed is a natural flavor additive; it is also rich in minerals and vitamins.
Fiber is dried apples, and representatives of vitamin B are brewer's yeast.
To reduce the smell of feces, Yucca Schidigera extract is added to the food.
In the picture one thing is in the composition of another
The front side of the packaging contains information about the protein and fat content of the food - “32% Protein, 14% Fat.” However, these are only numbers that do not tell us anything about the sources of these substances and the quality of the raw materials. The package also features a fresh chicken breast with the inscription Chicken, as well as a blue chicory flower.
It’s interesting that nothing is said about chicken fillet in the list of ingredients, and there is no mention of chicory at all, so we can’t explain these pictures with anything other than a publicity stunt.
But the inscription “No chemicals, preservatives, colorants” generally looks ridiculous. Firstly, any vitamins and minerals used as balancing additives are chemicals in the strictest sense, and all other components of the feed are organic chemical compounds.
Secondly, it is impossible to make food without preservatives at all - it will quickly deteriorate and lead to poisoning of the animal. But in this case, there is no need to be alarmed, because the label clearly states that this food contains EU-approved antioxidants, which are preservatives, although they may include harmless herbal additives and tocopherol extracts, as well as controversial synthetic components. So this inscription is nothing more than a marketing gimmick.

Our verdict
Well what can I say. Even the price of 140 rubles for a 400 g jar does not make this food attractive enough for us to recommend it. The manufacturer indicated only 30% meat (or carcasses, if just chicken and salmon are indicated), 3% rice and 0.5% salmon or sunflower oil. What the remaining 66.5% of the feed is, that is, the majority, is unknown. Perhaps these are offal (they are at least of animal origin), or maybe grains, which a cat should not eat at all according to its physiology.
It is touching that on the label of any of the four foods there is a carafe of oil, as well as red fish fillets, chopped into generous pieces - but the stated oil is only 0.5%, and there is no red fish fillet in any food, except that with beef and salmon. But even in the food with beef there is no fillet, it is whole salmon.
Let's summarize - Ontario canned food can only be used in the absence of a better quality alternative - after all, objectively speaking, the Ontario composition is better than the composition of any economy food. In all other cases, it doesn’t even smell like super-premium; it’s better to opt for a product with a more transparent composition.
